Hida Beef Irori Kaiseki for 2019 Winter (Dec to Feb)

This is one of the accommodation plans.

If you book this plan, you can enjoy "IRORI KAISEKI" dinner at Japanese restaurant "Shirakawago".

Irori is an open hearth and the appealing point is that we can enjoy various cooking there while keeping warm such as skewered fishes. Gathering and sitting around Irori give us a sense of unity and it makes the conversation more exciting.

Kaiseki is traditional dish and consists of a sequence of dishes.
Each dish is small and artistically arranged.

You will have it at the biginnig of dinner.

③Assorted local food

④Steamed egg custard

⑤Assorted Sashimi
These are very fresh raw fish.
You will have them with soy sauce.

⑥Ko-tofu with Hoba miso

⑦Salt-grilled char

⑧Hida beef sumibi-yaki
Hida beef is one of the famous food in Takayama.
You will grill them by yourself over the Irori.


⑨Deep-fried sesame tofu

⑩Rice,Miso soup,Pickles
Miso soup is Japanese traditional soup made from soybean paste and vegetables.
Pickles go well with rice.

Sukuna pumpkin is a special product in Hida.

Lump of Hida Beef 飛騨牛塊肉300g

You can eat lump of Hida Beef at local cuisine restaurant "Shirakawago" in Takayama Green Hotel

If you order it, raw Hida Beef will be served you.

Then you will grill by yourseif on your table.


It is easy to wait for a long time because it is very vigorous.

After 7 minutes pass, you will turn over it.



After finish grilling, ask the staff to slice it.



Hida Beef is soooooo tender.

You can enjoy it with 2 kinds of sauce.
