The World Heritage “Shirakawa-go” will move you with the beautiful scenery of traditional houses called “Gassho Zukuri” and snowfall.
We would like to tell you very important information here.
Please read this page very carefully.

Light-up Time 17:30 to 19:30

[NOTES]
Shirakawa-go light-up event has some regulations.
You cannot go there without booking.
You cannot buy any ticket in Shirakawa-go on the day.
●The sight-seeing bus between Takayama and Shirakawa-go: Booking required
・ The fixed-route bus will not run during light-up event.
●Shirakawago parking: Booking required
●Observation deck ticket : Booking required

[Recommended clothing and belongings]
・warm cloghing (hard shell jackets etc)
・gloves, scarf, knit beanie
・snow boots (non-slippery shoes)
・kairo (air activated warmer)
・hot drink
・camera
・rucksack
The walking way will be very slippy, so you had better not hold umbrella or tote (shoulder) bags.

To whom will stay at Takayama Green Hotel
You have to book special stay plan on hotel website.
There are a few rooms and bus seats available.

4:30pm Arr. at Shirakawa-go
4:40 to 7:30pm Free time (Gassho Zukuri Minkaen)
7:40pm Dep. from Shirakawa-go
8:40pm Arr. at hotel
8:45pm Dinner *If you choose half boad plan
-stay overnight at hotel

-This bus tour will start/end at Takayama Green Hotel.
You cannot join/leave in midway.
-You cannot go to Shirakawa-go observation deck.
(It means you cannot overlook the village.)
You will enjoy inside the village (Ogi-machi).

-Payment in advance
-There are special policy about children. Check the details on stay plan.

-If you booked on other booking site such as Agoda, Expedia or Booking.com, you cannot join Shirakawago light-up bus tour.
